Residents of Weston and Crewe Green will have the opportunity to vote in the Weston and Crewe Green Neighbourhood Plan Referendum on Thursday 3 September 2026.

Residents of Weston and Crewe Green will have the opportunity to vote in the Weston and Crewe Green Neighbourhood Plan Referendum on Thursday 3 September 2026.
The referendum gives eligible voters the chance to decide whether the Weston and Crewe Green Neighbourhood Plan should be used to help guide planning decisions in the local area.
The question which will be asked in the Referendum is:
“Do you want Cheshire East Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Weston & Crewe Green to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”
Weston and Crewe Green Parish Council is committed to providing impartial information about the referendum and access to the Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documents. The Parish Council does not promote any particular outcome and encourages all eligible residents to make an informed choice.
Polling stations will be open from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm on Thursday 3 September 2026.
