Neighbourhood Plan

The Plan was produced by the steering group in cooperation with Weston and Crewe Green Parish Council. The neighbourhood area was designated on the 8 March 2024.

Consultation on the draft Plan took place between the 24 July 2025 and the 12 September 2025. The submission Plan public consultation took place between the 5 January 2026 and the 16 February 2026. Independent examination on the submitted Plan took place between the 26 February 2026 and the 3 June 2026.

Incorporating the examiner’s recommendations from their report, the decision to proceed to referendum was decided on the 7 July 2026, and local referendum on the Plan took place on the 3 September 2026, and returned a ‘yes’ vote in favour of the plan. The Plan was made on the 28 September 2026.

Note: The Weston and Crewe Green NPlan replaces the Weston and Basford NPlan. All documents relating to the Weston and Basford NPlan have been unpublished and archived.
